The big difference is any 07-11 exhaust system has O2 sensor bungs that needs to be plugged.

Out side of that, the head spacing is the same. You may have to modify a mounting point, but it should bolt up.

SE mufflers have nothing to do with the head pipe. Mufflers are the same as well.

. Softail didn't get O2 sensors till 2007. Even so, you can plug the sensor ports on headers off newer models and use them on older models.

Well i would have to use the whole system with this setup as my factory pipes are staggered and the se setup both mufflers are at the rear..dont think the se setup has bungs for o2s....

 

05 and 96 are interchangeable as long as mounts are identical at right lower frame.
