Hi folks,
I have a few thousand miles now on my 2013 Wide Glide (loving it), and I want to apply some mods now that I know a bit more. But folks here have lots of experience with different mods, and this is my first. So here's my plans - hoping some folks have opinions to share!

First thing - change out the stock shocks with Progressive 444's (standard). I think these will be much better when riding 2 up (giving I'm pushing 300), and better overall.

At the same time (might as well) - change the stock exhaust with V&H 2-into-1 Pro Pipes, Screamin' Eagle air filter, and a Power Commander V tuner.

Are these things good "firsts"? Also, what about the particular components?

Just as an aside - my wife is looking to buy her first Harley - she seems to like my WG...

Looks like you're on the right track with the mods. The 2 in 1 exhaust with the SE Breather is definately gonna give you better performance. You might want to consider investing in a super tuner in lieu of the PC and have it dyno'd with a good dyno guy. More expensive but IMO worth it. If the Dyno tech is any good, he will be able to get that bike running at its peak performance with the
Stage One upgrade, ie exhaust and the SE Breather mods.
