I just bought a 2013 FXDC a week ago. I love it the bike so far. The previous owner had forward controls installed. I'm 6-3 and they are great in town. However, on the highway the wind blows my legs outward away from the tank and I have to maintain tension in my legs to keep them near the tank. I don't like that at all.
It would seem that mid controls would remedy this. My question is can I keep the forward controls and and add pegs where the mids used to be so when I'm on the highway I can tuck my legs in? Is that possible?
If anyone has done this can you give me some advice and what parts I need etc?
