Is the Run / Off switch set to Run?

Do you have the Factory Service Manual and the Electrical Diagnostic Manual?
Follow the instructions in the initial Diagnostics: Step by step. (this can be a long process)

Without the Electrical Diagnostic Manual, the bike needs to be taken to HD Service in order to connect with a Digital Tech II.

yes ignition/run sw to run after holding mode sw.
aah no to the manuals . . . is this info online or should I hunt for a paper manual.

Ignition (key) Switch: OFF
Right hand run/stop switch to ON
Hold the trip-reset switch down while turning the (Key) ignition switch to RUN.

 

thx Scott, 2018 has fob so I think my procedure is correct.
Funny thing is the bike still runs fine. Those check lights worry me though.

I had damaged the circuit board trying to fix the fogging problem.
I drilled a couple of 3mm holes in the case, which helped. . . but created another.
