I thought I would share my 2014 Road King with a Woodys fairing and a custom dash that I made. The dash holds a 7” Samsung tablet that acts as a gps, full set of gauges by way of my Vance & Hines FP3 tuner, and a control for my stereo mounted inside the fairing.

I like the fairing, and the Road King is one of my all time favorite models, but was it really cost effective to build/install that fairing vs. say a street glide?

It probably was for me. My bike was paid for. I have about $1500 invested in the fairing, stereo equipment, paint and tablet. If you figure time in there I’m sure I’m in the hole. But I like doing stuff like this. And it will all come off in about 5 minutes and be back to standard Road King.

That’s a great job on the fairing. Great in concept and execution. Did you machine the bezel for the tablet yourself? Detachability gives you the best of both worlds. Very nice.

Just got done installing s&s 551 ez start gear drive cam kit. Runs awesome after installing new map from fuel moto on my powervision then buddy that works with me at the harley dealer tweaked even more on the dyno at the shop should be a lot of this year!
