Anyone use these for wheel maintenance? I like to do my own maintenance but this is my first bike that has spoke wheels that I actually care about.

Any advice on spoke maintenance and wheel truing? I have the proper Dyna shop manual.

Thanks in advance.

A quick spoke check can be done with a screwdriver. Tap each spoke and listen to the sound, should all sound real close to the same. If you run into some loose ones just tighten to get the correct sound. The tightest spokes have the highest pitch.

I think a spoke torque wrench is pretty useless for wheels that have been together for a while. Dirt, corrosion, etc. will make even a loose spoke nipple hard to turn. (Chief, I said nipple AND hard)..
