I've never had any issues through turns on my bike. I have a 2013 SG. What kind of shocks did you install on your bike?

 

same ones on the RKC and the FLHX, 1" lower than the reg tourers, 54662-02A, i gotta slow down regardless. One thing for sure, i never scraped boards like this before on a tourer.

 

I've got a 2014 StreetGlide Special and never had a problem.

 

My kickstand scrapes on sharp left handers but that's about it and I ride back roads all the time. Funny thing is I lowered my 2010 road king with lowering blocks 1" to the stock height of a street glide and scraped all the time left and right.

 

Own a 2014 SG. No issue for me. Maybe need adjustment?

I have not had any scraping problems with my 2013 FLHX with stock air shocks and we have plenty of curvy country roads out here in Texas. Maybe I am just not aggressive enough in my turns?

have to ask if you lean with the bike or just lean the bike? The latter will scrap more often. IMO

 

I does what the bike does:grin. All kidding aside, i lean with the bike, at 60mph, i low side this bike now like crazy, more so with the drop. I gotta slow down and realize im riding a waterbed and not a bar hopper!!

 

60mph in a 30mph curve will scrape. :wink
occasionally scrape, but mostly do not. perhaps we get to know the limits and adjust.

 

2011 SG with progressive 944.

 

SG shocks on my 2012 Ultra and no problems. Front is 1" lower too.
