Yeah, I was thinking that too. I could definitely see how a technically simple procedure could turn into a freakin' nightmare because that. Hell, like everything else on my bike, I believe the damn bolts were already loose!! :laugh:laugh It's become somewhat of a slow discovery process in finding all the loctite-less items on the bike. Fortunately, it's usually discovered while sitting still!! As far as rust-tite items, I'm lucky. It's a clean bike.
I meant to comment that I too think those rear bars should be stock. The whole reason I purchased my bike was for that nostalgic/classic look and the bars just seem to make it complete.
The only thing I want to do now is put on a solo seat - you know, like the tractor/police style version. I love what's on there, and I've even grown to like the style of it, but I still want the solo. It will be far more comfortable for long rides and will put me up just a tiny bit. Anyway, I have a guy who will make me a custom one for just shy of three bills, hardware included. I just need to follow through. I've been super indecisive about what color(s) to go with.
Thanks for the compliment, my friend!
