Shifting Problems

Wazzup! I have an 01 FLHTC (5 Speed Transmission) that does not want to shift when running hard. Me and my brothers, we ride hard. I have replaced my stock cams with a set of Andrews 21s and new Barnett Kevlars with Steels. I have noticed before the Cam & Clutch change that the bike would "sometimes" not want to shift up while hitting higher rpm's. I figured it was the clutches being worn (which they were) and didn't worry much because I was changing them anyway.

Anyhow, after the cam set, and clutch change, the bitch is still having a "Bad Midol Moment." Rapping it out off the start, wide open, when shifting up into 3rd, and sometimes 4th gear, she pops into neutral (missing the gear) until I drop the R's down a tad bit. When riding normal, she shifts like butter. What ya thinking? Fork issue, shifting alignment out a bit, or what? She has 39,000 miles so far. I am running with Redline Shock Proof 80W Gear Oil and Using Drag Specialties High Performance Primary oil. I am going to change the primary oil to Type F ATF for a much more aggressive engagement as needed for my style of riding. So what ya thinking? Any ideas?

The process of elimination...aaahhh the beer tastes even better now! I'm hoping the simple overrules the expensive...what am I talking about right, it's always expensive. HD=Hundred Dollar. But you wanna play, you have to pay. I'm eventually gonna go through it this week. I just wanted some ideas from some higher experienced than myself. I have been riding now for 9 years and I do all my own work. I have completely restored an old shovelhead being my first build and have been working on a few different bikes over the past few years. I really appreciate your input. You ride safe and take care out there in the green smoker state :)
